POSITION SUMMARY
Brandner Design’s In-House Accountant is responsible for the processing of daily accounting transactions of the
business, with guidance from the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Accountant is responsible for accurate and
efficient data entry, transaction processing, and reconciliations. The Accountant will also support the CFO with
reporting, compliance, audits, and improving internal processes and controls.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS | RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS, DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform the following essential duties satisfactorily:
• Processes the daily operational transactions related to functions of the business including vendor invoice
processing, cash disbursements, billing, and receivables collection.
• Performs and reviews general accounting operational processing and reconciliation including cash,
accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, accrued liabilities, and other general ledger
accounts as assigned.
• Ability to complete projects and assignments with a high level of accuracy and within deadlines, with
minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates initiative to research and follow up on non-standard situations or transactions to ensure
compliance with company and financial policies and procedures.
• Analyzes data on operational costs to support management decision-making processes.
• Assists with the preparation and analysis of reports, variance analyses, financial forecasts, and budgets.
• Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Promotes professionalism and a service-centered attitude, in all business relationships including clients,
vendors, service providers, and co-workers.
• Works with management and co-workers to foster understanding of accounting workflows across all
functional areas (sales, operations, fabrication, design, etc.).
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, preferred
o Equivalent experience will be considered
• Preference given to candidates with project management, construction, or manufacturing experience
• Experience using Percentage of Completion Accounting, preferred
• Proficiency using Microsoft Suite
• Proficiency using Intuit QuickBooks Online
